Where Datadog wins
- Deep APM, distributed tracing, and log search are genuinely best-in-class. We don't compete there — we consume those signals.
- If you want one vendor for all telemetry and cost is not a constraint, Datadog is the most complete platform.
- Their product breadth (RUM, synthetics, security) has no equivalent in our roadmap.
